Blanc de noir – Vom Berg
A truly interesting wine, this Blanc de noir is a French term meaning white wine from red grapes. This organic wine is a fine, fresh and very fruity organic wine with a light sparkle and some call it a orange wine. You can taste the fruit in abundance, like a fruity white wine but with tones that you normally find in a red wine. It is a truly interesting organic wine that goes well with fresh salads, light dishes and soft creamy cheese.
Blanc de Noir is made from the Pinot Noir blue grape but made as white wine. In the pleasant scent you can smell notes of red pepper and ripe melon. The wine comes from the heart of the Rheinhessen and this 4th generation producer has been been certified since 2012 and all wines are produced vegan. Serve at 8-10 degrees.
The phrase blanc de noir is usually used with Champagne wines from Champagne in France and other sparkling wines that are made entirely from the pinot noir grape.
